NPORS Construction Safety Awareness Course (S001)

The NPORS Construction Safety Awareness Course is mapped as a full equivalent to the QCF Level 1 Award Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, helping people understand hazards, risk assessment duties, how accidents happen and how to work safely.

This means that, alongside plant operators taking this course, labourers who have achieved the NPORS Construction Safety Awareness Course can apply for the CSCS Green Labourers card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environmental touch screen Test.

We provide classroom and workplace training for people who need clear guidance, quality instruction and a sensible place to build confidence, reduce accidents and manage everyday workplace hazards.

Practical Training For Exeter Teams

Health and safety training should match the work your team actually carries out. CPN Training provides a wide range of courses for Exeter businesses, including workplace training and in-house training where suitable, so employers can arrange relevant learning without sending every worker away from the place they operate.

Courses can support construction, plant and general workplace safety needs, from manual handling, safe working at height and asbestos awareness through to first aid courses and mental health first aid. Options also cover forklift training, MEWP boom, MEWP scissor, telescopic handler, excavator, dumper, roller, crane and lifting-related courses.

This makes it easier to choose health and safety training in Exeter that fits the role, the equipment being used and the level of responsibility involved. CPN Training can help you identify suitable options for operators, supervisors and wider teams before you book, confirm a suitable date and manage the assessment route required for your requirements.

Support For Competent Work

For many trade and construction employers, training is not just about ticking a box. It helps people understand safer ways to work, recognise common hazards, manage risk and build confidence around equipment, workplace rules and daily responsibilities. CPN Training offers NPORS accredited courses alongside supporting routes for cards and certification.

The available options include NPORS operator card and NPORS HS and E branded card routes, as well as construction NVQs across the available levels. Pre-course study materials can also help candidates prepare before attending, which is useful for busy workers who need clear guidance ahead of the day.

Whether you need health and safety training in Exeter for a single worker or a wider group, the focus is on arranging suitable course options from the services CPN Training provides. That can include plant categories, safety awareness, lifting-related training, abrasive wheels, safe working at height and practical workplace subjects that help teams stay prepared, prevent accidents, meet requirements and choose the right date.
